Defining Training / Performance Support Content Responsibility Boundaries Between a Structured Content Management Platform Program and Supported Service Areas
A Structured Content Management platform was developed for a multi-national pharmaceutical company. The platform supported numerous service areas.
Program Management for the platform solution needed to clarify responsibilities for training / performance support content between the program and the
service areas. The program provided learning content for the platform itself. It was embedded within the tool. However, service areas had specific
content for their areas that was unique or specific to their needs. Prior to developing training strategies for each service are, a clear delineation
of responsibilities was needed. The diagram below depicts Program and Service Area content responsibilities and the use of content from both areas.
